The OPENING Sequence includes a Basic Set of static poses designed to prepare the major muscles and joints of the body for safe practice, combined with a Strength Set, designed to tone muscles and provide stability around the major joints of the body. Mostly floor exercises with a slow pace, the instruction encourages you to approach your body's limitations as softly as you can and heighten your awareness to the subtle changes that take place naturally with consistent of practice.
